These medical professionals try to focus on individualized care and try to stop something from occurring in the first place.
Most nursing practitioners will see acute illnesses, injuries, and infections. They will also help treat someone who is dealing with a chronic disease like high blood pressure or diabetes. They can conduct a physical exam, as well as order, interpret, and perform various diagnostic studies. Prescriptions can be written, as well as suggest physical therapy and other treatments to a patient.
There are many advantages of taking this job if you have the proper credentials and experience. However, it isn't something for everyone. There are those who prefer to provide support, which is also necessary.
